Ultra provide cyclotron facilities around the world with a total monitoring solution for personnel protection and adherence to regulatory guidelines. Cyclotrons are used to generate isotopes for use in the imaging procedure Positron Emission Tomography or PET. PET is the most advanced medical diagnostic imaging technology available today for detection of cancers, diseases of the heart and brain.

High reliability, flexibility and versatility have been the key to the development of our solutions allowing our customers to expand or upgrade their systems with the minimum of disruption.

Our tracked and wheeled vehicle system continuously monitors the radiological environment both within the vehicle and external to the platform. Suitable for external mounting on amphibious vehicles, our systems are utilised on the latest generation of military vehicles within the British Army.

Ultra has supplied radiation monitoring systems to navies throughout NATO and continues to provide new systems and in-service support for maritime operations. The systems provide continuous radiological threat data in both air and water in support of both surface and submarine fleets.
